(LA MOJONERA)

GROUP: 6th B

TEACHER: SONIA SÁNCHEZ BARRANCO

“PEACE”

Peace will make the world free,

Open our eyes, and help us see.

Wars and conflicts make people sad,

Hurting others is really bad.

Many kids live, through an awful war,

Their family ends up very poor.

During war, they often lose,

Sometimes even, their own shoes.

Let’s speak up, tell a friend,

All these wars, need to end.

Peace begins when we care,

Let’s make this world, truly fair.

MANNERS

GROUP: 2nd B

TEACHER: JAVIER RUEDA MARTÍNEZ

MANNERS

Manners are useless.
Take my advice.
Always act rudely.
Never be nice.

Eat with your fingers,
not with a fork.
Don’t use a napkin.
Why be a dork?

Don’t change your clothing.
Dress like a bum.
Don’t do your homework.
Try to act dumb.

Never say, “Thank you.”
Never say, “Please.”
Don’t say, “I’m sorry.”
It’s better to tease.

If you remember
to do what I say,
you’ll have no more friends
when you call them to play.

BRUCE LANSKY

We thought that manners are not useless. They are very important, so we made a list of good manners:

OREO COOKIES

OREO COOKIES,

I LOVE THEM SO WELL

I EAT THREE OR FOUR WHEN

I HEAR THE LUNCH BELL

AND THEN IN THE LUNCHROOM

I EAT TWENTY MORE

I’M FEELING SO HEAVY

I CRASH THROUGH THE FLOOR

THEN BACK IN THE CLASSROOM

MY TEACHER SAYS “PLEASE,

CAN  I HAVE A COOKIE?

OR  I’LL GIVE YOU D’S”

I GIVE HER A COOKIE

ME VERY LAST ONE

THE TEACHER IS HAPPY

CAUSE  I’M HER SON

EIGHT BALLOONS

Eight balloons no one was buyin’

All broke loose one afternoon.

Eight balloons with strings a – flyin’

Free to do what they wanted to.

One flew up to touch the sun – POP!

One thought highways might be fun – POP!

One took a nap in a cactus pile – POP!

One stayed to play with a careless child – POP!

One tried to taste some bacon fryin’ – POP!

One fell in love with a porcupine – POP!

One looked close in a crocodile’s mouth – POP!

One sat around’ til his air run out – WHOOSH!

Eight balloons no one was buyin’

They broke loose and away they flew

Free to float and free to fly

and free to pop where they wanted to.

The Cow

The friendly cow, all red and white,

I love with all my heart:

she gives me cream with all her might,

to eat with apple tart.

She wanders lowing here and there,

and yet she cannot stray,

all in the pleasant open air,

the pleasant light of day;

And blown by all the winds that pass

and wet with all the showers,

she walks among the meadow grass

and eats the meadow flowers.
